The absolutely unique titanium and carbon fiber-bodied supercar named Vulcano is meant to blow your mind away when it appears at 2015 Pebble Beach Concours D’elegance. This dream car from the Italian design house Icona boasts some sharp, yet dramatic lines which make it alike with the famous Blackbird SR-71 military plane. The main peculiarity of this supercar is its hand crafted titanium body (as the name suggests) which required 1,000 hours for its development and the exclusive shape designed to move out the hot air from the engine and to reduce air turbulence generated by the wheels. The body of the supercar boasts a mix of the metal and even lighter carbon fiber making the total curb weight 3,516 pounds. The Italian coachbuilder Cecomp is responsible for the construction.

As for its looks, Frenchman Samuael Chuffart, a former Bertone designer decided to blend the elements of such modern supercars as the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Lexus LFA, but in a very different way. It’s quite obvious that the titanium panels are very unique. According to Icona, they are 0.5 millimeters thick, entirely hammered by hand and required no welds or heating.
